The car manufacurer Lamborghini is an italian based company that produce luxury supercsars for the whole world. Lamborghini is owned by The Audi car company. Lamborghinis production area and headquaters sant'agata bolognese. In the year 2011 Lamborghinis whole crew of 831 employees managed to produce 1711 cars! in its first decade of buissness Lamborghini grew very fast but in 1973 because of the oil crisis the sales of cars dropped dramatically. The owner of the firms actually changed 3 times during this struggle. In 1987 the car group Chrysler took over but then decided to sell the company to a group who are investers Mycom Setdco and a coorporation called V'power in the year 1994. In 1998 thses groups decided that they had to sell the company to the volksvwagen group and was then put under the Audi car group division.
In late 2000 the worldwide financial problems were at there worst the company was really struggling as their sales were dropping fast by around 45-50%!!!!!!! In 2011 the comany made around $47 million.

The Why's and How's of super cars
Location: Why and how are there so many super cars in london?
As there are such a large ammount of people roaming the long streets of london and there are so many posh hotels, shops and designer franchises it is a perfect playground area for the rich and their super cars to show off making as much noise in the narrow areas of steets which seal all the loud V6 V8 and V12 grumbles. The people who own these super cars also know there will be many people on the streets that they can get attention from so that they can video them for youtube and what not. These people can afford cars like this because of their huge salarys!!
Materials: Why is carbon fibre used to make cars?
Carbon fibre (reinforced polymer) is very very light and extremely strong! it is fibre reinforced polymer that contians lots of carbon fibers. The reason that carbon fiber is used on so many super cars in the last 10+ years is because it is just so light but strong that the manufactures make a cars interior or body out of it to shed weight so that the car can go faster as it is a supercar! The carbon fiber is so strong that some super cars bodies and interior are made of just that material. The bugatti veyron is light beacuse lots of carbon fiber is used on the car so it can have ultimatly more power!
